Since McCall's letter is shorter this week, I'll include what she sent to her dad. Suffice it to say she LOVES being a missionary; everything about it. Thank you for loving and supporting our girls day by day, week to week. They feel it I know.

Hello Everyone!
So to continue from my rampage last week about smoking.. we got one of our amis Elodie to quit smoking this week! She has been clean for about 48 hours... so proud!! I'm proud of her because our other ami Marie- Valentine.... she didn't last one hour:( which is so weird because Elodie smokes way more than Marie-V... but anyhow we have seen progress on all accounts:)
Here's a quick update of the week... we started the countdown for conference! every night either me or my comp choose an apostle and share what little information we know about them and then a quote from the "chosen" one. We have to guess who it is and it has turned into the highlight of our night:) We are saving Holland and Uchtdorf for the end:) and the dear prophet of course:)
Josy is doing soooo well! She bore her testimony to us about the power of the Book of Mormon a couple of days ago and our lessons have just turned into testimony meetings! You would think that would be the best but in the end we barely get to teach her what we need to! Thankfully she has her own preach my gospel... haha so she finishes the lessons on her own and they we answer questions when she calls us... which is like all the time:) Usually once in the morning and once at night! She is so great. I love her very much!
Elodie is so cool! She stopped smoking last Saturday night and after she made dinner. We had a great night with the Clark family who is supporting her in not smoking! She came to all of church and is really just changing everything! Too bad chastity will be a little difficult considering her boyfriend is moving here in July... ya that will be fun:) Anyway we visit her everyday to take her mind off of the cigarettes and last night she made us dinner again... she is just so nice and a dang good cook too! I said "you are as old as me... where did you learn to cook?"
Marie Valentine came to church:) and she loves us and has finally started calling us instead of always sending us texts... I like talking on the phone way better... everyone knows that about me so now we can talk to her and keep better track of her smoking:) haha the real reason for the calls!
Albert is just cool; he comes to church every week.. I actually have never really taught him because we are usually always on exchanges when we teach him and Soeur Roberts takes his lessons. Exchanges have been going well lately which is really great! With these solid amis, we have actual lessons to do when we have exchanges now which is what you want! Then we can help these sisters learn how to teach... unfortunately we don't teach much in this mission so as a result of that we are not very good teachers:( That's ok we can always blame it on the language:)
Sorry not anything too exciting happened this week except that we taught a lot:) That is always fun! The work is going so well right now it's wonderful! Marie Valentine gave us her can of cigarette stuff but then smoked right after bUT I have a fun picture to send of me holding drugs:) haha Elodie gave us her stuff too and so our apartment has been full of smoking paraphernalia:) But ya we have lighters, paper to roll our own cigs, ashtrays... you name it we have it:) We need to get rid of it asap actually!
We had a really interesting lesson with a less active last night and it got me thinking how grateful I am for my testimony that I received for myself! How strong our "personal" testimonies are!!:) so grateful! thank you for not forcing anything on me parents and letting me learn and choose for myself!
Don't smoke and watch conference:)
